In my therapeutic practice I have been working with people who have a wide range of issues. I provide a safe, confidential and calm environment in which to explore a person’s own experience with the intention of facilitating change.

Change from within is the key to uncovering who a person really is, the true Self. Each person is born with a Self that is unique to them. The Self can become hidden away for safe keeping and is protected by strong effective defence systems, this happens because of life’s conditioning that occurs through the family and society.  It is because of these defence systems that it is not possible for a person to make changes by themselves, another person is needed to help them see and become more conscious.

When the true Self is hidden away it begins to leave a person feeling unhappy and like something is missing. Psychotherapy then is a journey into the unknown of the psyche.

I am able to work with people on specific issues they may have or with people who may want longer term support with their personal inquiry. The therapy can therefore be short term or long term depending on individual needs.

I have experience of working therapeutically with adults and young people (from 16 years) on a wide range of issues.
